PGC FINALS DAY – SUNDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2024
Penrith Golf Club held its Club Finals on Sunday 1st September. These are all knock-out finals which have been competed by almost half the club membership between April and end of August. The Champion Competitions and the America Cup are all 36 hole competitions played on the same day. Matthew Vincent finally beat Stuart Campbell on the 39th hole, after 8 hours of close competition. Kathryn Bulman beat Rebecca Davidson on Sunday and won the Div 1 knockout beating Lyn Dulson on Friday 30th August. Gavin Oliver beat the current Club Captain Nigel Scott in the 36 hols America Cup.
All other matches were played in good spirits and the prize giving was held in the club house after the event, attended by many members and their families.
